Nick and I got some great seats courtesy of a friend. It was the closest to the field I've ever been and TN played great. It made for a great day. Nick and I got a bit of Kentucky Fried Chicken on the way to the game for our tailgate meal. Tasty.
Then it was on to the stadium. Here is the view from our seats. 32 rows up from the field and in the nice warm sun on the brisk Autumn day. Really, a perfect day for football.
Of course, it's not time for the game until the players take the field and the band does their thing. UT's band is quite good and their pre-game routine is pretty awesome. Feel free to clap and sing along...
UT was able to shut down Heisman Trophy candidate Darren McFadden from Arkansas.
I only brought my small camera, so no good game action shots, but here is an idea of what we saw. MdFadden, #5 tries to run against TN. He had a few good runs, but not enough to spark Arkansas.
Nick's doo for the game
After a long, loud day and following a long loud night when Nick had 3 friends over for a slumber party, this was the result.
And a nice ending shot. UT 34, Ark 13.
